von Braun´s Review
Power - Beauty - Soul...
Striking beauty with an underlying strength: the dynamic abilities of the DBS are made explicit through the muscular elegance of it´s bodywork. Crafted from aluminium and carbon-fibre, every surface, curve, line and crease has a function, expressing the car´s potency, performance, agility and speed before the start button has even been deployed. These are the words presenting the all new and most expensive Aston Martin ever produced in 2009. DBS embodies elegance with raw power from Aston Martin's racing heritage. When new, it cost close to 50% more than a DB9. When we first drove DBS at von Braun Sports Cars, we were pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated crisp and fun performance Aston Martin had managed to unite. Most luxury GT sports cars are more of a sensible car with American-oriented performance values. DBS is just as fun to drive as an Italian sports car but still with a British luxury feature that became worthy of James Bond in the movie Casino Royale - 007. The 6-speed Touchtronic box switches distinctly but seamlessly as a dual clutch box. This DBS is extremely tasteful with its pearl white paint along with leather and Alcantara in the color "Bitter Chocolate". Bright golden contrast stitching as well as carbon fiber and piano lacquer give the same tasteful luxury feel inside the car as a Jaeger-LeCoultre wrist watch. At vonBraun.com you will find the most complete presentation including 32 high-resolution photos. The car is equipped as follows:
