von Braun´s Review

Discover a timeless treasure - Jaguar MK2 3.4L from 1965 which was delivered new in Sweden.
My goodness - what a condition it represents! This has become a common reaction from visitors to our showroom in recent days. This car came into the hands of caring owners early on and between 1973 and 1980 it underwent extensive restoration. In 1977, the car was awarded its first award and since then, awards and recognitions have continued to pour in at car shows. And of course it is beautiful in its light blue/grey silver metallic colour. The paintwork really shines and blends in very nicely with the cognac colored leather. The last owner recently invested a lot of time and money to dismantle the entire car and prepare everything for a new professional paint job in both the engine compartment, doorways, trunk space and of course also the exterior bodywork. Before assembly, both front and rear were renovated, but new bearings, bushings and brakes. Even the original rear axle has undergone an extensive renovation. The engine's carburettor and other details received a thorough revision before it was fitted back into the car. The car's entire electrical system was replaced with a newly manufactured one and at the same time as the car received negative grounding, the generator was also changed to a more reliable alternating current generator that was delivered from Vicarage in Great Britain. To ensure increased reliability and better fuel efficiency, the car has received a new electronic 123 ignition. Vicarage in the UK has also supplied a modern power steering which includes a full hydraulic rack and pinion and provides an unbeatable smooth driving experience. The beautiful chrome details are in excellent condition and have a history stretching back to the restoration in the 1970s.
The car is equipped with Vredstein Classic tires on spoked rims which are an original accessory from the 1970s. Original tire skirt in good condition comes with the car. The timeless interior ceiling in original wool fabric was renovated in 1975 and is, together with the well-preserved wooden inlays, in very good condition. It is equipped with a synchronized manual 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. This gives you smooth changes and outstanding comfort at higher speeds.
The indicated meter reading is what the meter shows and it may have failed or been replaced over the years.
Last but not least, the exclusive and patinated leather seats in cognac color offer a perfect seating position for a sophisticated and memorable driving experience.

This 1965 Jaguar MK2 3.4L is a car full of historic details and authentic flair. Jaguar in Great Britain has therefore issued a "Heritage Certificate" to the car.

The Jaguar MK2 was launched as a successor to the Jaguar Mark 1. It was available with several different engine options, including a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine and a 3.4 liter 6-cylinder engine. The 3.4L model was particularly famous for its powerful engine that generated 210 horsepower and a top speed of 190 km/h. The Jaguar MK2 combines luxury with sporty performance. The MK2 3.4L had a powerful 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine that generated 210 horsepower. This gave the car impressive performance for its time, with a top speed of over 190 km/h and rapid acceleration.

The Jaguar MK2 distinguished itself through its timeless and stylish design. It had a distinctive grill and chrome accents that gave it a distinctive look. The interior was elegant and offers comfort and luxury, with fine wood inlays and leather upholstery.

The Jaguar MK2 became successful in motorsport, competing in various events, including sedan racing. The car won several races and was known for its ability to combine speed and handling. The model became particularly popular in Great Britain and was considered the perfect car for a British "gentleman racing driver." Its popularity spread internationally, and the MK2 3.4L was sold worldwide.

Today, the Jaguar MK2 3.4L is regarded as one of the most iconic cars in Jaguar history. Its timeless design and impressive performance have made it a sought-after collector's car and a symbol of British automotive art.
