von Braun´s Review

This VW Beetle is difficult to portray fairly through photos. It should be experienced in reality. Not least because of its fine paintwork in the original color L478 Beryl Green and the interior with textile upholstery in the color 60/Derby Olive. The light green pastel color has a classic 60s tone and all the car's rubber details and canvas roof and upholstery have a matching color tone. The certificate from the VW Group in Wolfsburg certifies that the car left the factory in October 1961 in exactly this version - "De Luxe Sedan with sliding canvas sunroof". It was built for the market in Sweden where it was also delivered to the first owner in March 1962. The certificate also certifies that the car has matching numbers with the same engine as when it was new. We dare say that this car has been restored to a finish far superior to what it received from the manufacturer in 1961. Every panel and detail has been meticulously ironed, painted and fitted. All chrome is in mint condition. Paintwork underneath as well as inside and outside is of high class. The upholstery gives an authentic genuine new car feeling. In the context of renovation, sometimes the most amazing things happen. Someone with great commitment is not limited by the fact that the renovation project they started "just" is an everyday classic. Perhaps this particular VW model designed by Ferdinand Porsche is one of the most popular and best-selling car models of all time. With the same love, care and economy as if it were the most attractive model from Porsche or Ferrari, a generous investment has been made in the car. The costs of a renovation like this will of course be more than the average person can imagine. In the ranking that von Braun Sports Cars assigns its items for sale on vonBraun.com, this car has therefore received something as unusual as a full 5 stars out of a possible 5.
