"Matching Numbers" Corvette C1 1960 with 270 hp original engine. The car is in need of restoration. It is a very good project for those who have high ambitions. Exciting car originally equipped with 270 hp engine (base engine had only 230 hp) and a manual gearbox. This engine option had dual Carter WCFB four-door carburetor and a high-lift mechanical camshaft. Newly restored dual carburetor with intake manifold is available for the car. The gearbox has been changed from a Borg Warner T10 to a later Muncie M22 wide ratio, but it is relatively easy to find an original gearbox for it if you prefer. It has original transmission cover. Most of the chassis is new and the body has been lifted from the frame. The interior with seats and carpet is recently restored. The body has some old repairs that should be improved before giving the car a new paint job. We sell the car for the stated price as it stands. You can also buy it professionally completely restored by us if you want. We take it to the level you want. We estimate the cost of a restoration on this Corvette C1 by our specialists in Skene to a standard that corresponds to NCRS Gold to approximately EUR 75.000. Delivery after completion in the summer of 2023.
