Diamond white metallic Mercedes-Benz SL 500 R231 with a dream specification. The fully automatic folding roof has the fantastic crystal glass called "magic sky". With a simple push of a button, the crystals turn the light transmission on or off. The entire equipment list, including "Exclusive Designo leather" in konjac brown color, "Air Scarf", AMG Styling package, Luggage set and much-much more, is clearly presented at vonBraun.com together with 33 high resolution pictures. The car was originally delivered in Germany and was exported from there to Sweden in 2017 by a Swedish official Mercedes dealer. All service history from Mercedes is compiled and the car has just received a thorough service review by an AMG technician.

Nice paint job with no significant wear or damage. The paint thickness is even and measured to be between 150-180 microns over the entire car. Three of the car's four diamond-polished AMG 19" rims have minor scuff marks.
The front tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport from 2018 with 4.5mm tread depth.
The rear tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport from 2018 with 3.5mm tread depth.


The 500SL R231 is a sophisticated two-seater convertible that combines luxury, performance and innovative technology. It was launched in 2012 as part of the sixth generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.

Under the hood is a twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine, which delivers an impressive power of around 429 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

The SL 500 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The car has rear-wheel drive (RWD) and is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission that provides smooth and responsive shifts even when operated manually with paddles behind the steering wheel.

The R231 generation is known for its elegant and aerodynamic design, with a long hood and a sporty rear. The roof is an electro-hydraulic hard top that can be folded down in about 20 seconds.

Inside, the car offers luxurious materials, high-tech features and amenities such as heated and ventilated seats, advanced infotainment systems and a high-quality sound system from Harman Kardon.

The SL 500 is equipped with an innovative "Magic Sky Control" panoramic roof. This roof can change its tint at the touch of a button, allowing passengers to choose between a clear or dark tint depending on the weather and light conditions.

To reduce weight, the car is built with a high proportion of aluminium, including the chassis and body. This makes the SL500 R231 significantly lighter than its predecessors, improving both performance and fuel efficiency.

This model comes with "Active Body Control" (ABC), an adaptive suspension system that automatically adjusts the shock absorbers to optimize comfort and handling depending on road conditions and driving style.

Another unique feature is the "Airscarf" system. This blows warm air around the necks of the driver and passenger, making it comfortable to drive with the roof down even in chilly temperatures.

The SL 500 includes a host of safety technology, such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, lane keeping systems and automatic braking systems to prevent collisions.
