Finally, we can offer a classically elegant Volvo 1800S with a very high level in terms of condition and execution. And you know what? It is actually renovated by Roger Moor himself! Therefore, it obviously has the same design as one of the three P1800 Sir Roger Moore drove in the film series "The Saint" on television during the period 1962-1969.

This car has been imported to Sweden from a dry and fine climate in the USA where it was alone until 2022. It has never been exposed to any rust attacks but has had a completely solid and rust-free body. After the car came back to the homeland of Sweden, the technically skilled owner (who is actually called Roger by first name and Moor by middle name) took care to bring the car back to the presented condition. The condition is almost like new and is awarded 4 out of 5 stars when rated by von Braun. Actual costs for spare parts and hired work have been paid by Roger with SEK 352,000. These costs are reported through receipts. The time spent on renovation works is estimated at 5-600 working hours in addition to the professional work with painting. Before the painting, a completely new rear panel was fitted as it had received a dent when the car was hit. At the same time, the American side lighting was welded onto the screens again. The left headlight had also suffered damage and was therefore replaced with a completely new screen part. The car was then completely disassembled and was professionally painted in its original color "Pearl White 79. Door jambs, engine compartment, luggage compartment, underside of hatches and doors retain a good finish on their paintwork. Code 307-500 on the chassis plate reveals that the interior was originally red. When current owner bought the car with new black leather upholstery, therefore he chose to continue with black and bought all the other panels and carpets in black. The interior roof, rubber strips and a lot of chrome are brand new a reproduction of the Minilite that Sir Roger Moore had on his car during the filming of The Saint.The tires are, of course, in mint condition. The car has been recently inspected and is therefore exempt from inspection as well as tax exempt for the future. The contemporary radio has been given an auxiliary connection so that you can receive radio broadcasts or play music via the mobile phone. Therefore, there is also no external antenna mounted on the car.

Potential for improvement then, is there? Yes, there are details that could make the car even nicer. The grill rim and grill are original and have some unevenness and patina. These two parts can be purchased newly manufactured from VP-Autoparts for a cost of approx. SEK 12,290. The chrome finish vertical rails behind the door vents have wear. They could be dismantled and re-chromed for an estimated SEK 5-10,000. The fit of the driver's door is not perfect. Some improvement can probably be achieved through adjustment, but getting it absolutely perfect can be challenging.
