von Braun´s Review
Classic elegant black/black Ferrari 550 Maranello. The 550 Maranello model was launched in 1997 when it was awarded "Car of the year" by a unanimous world press. The 550 Maranello carries a clear heritage from the 365 GTB Daytona with a front-mounted V12 naturally aspirated engine. The manual 6-speed gearbox is mounted together with the differential at the rear axle.
This car was first registered in April 2000 abroad. It seems to have been most of the time in Germany with registration number B/119557 and Holland with registration number DU O6549. It was imported to Estonia in 2008 where a Swedish owner living in Estonia has had the car pre-registered according to Carfax. Carfax reports an insurance claim in 2010, which we received an account of through work documents, including the replacement of a front fender and lower threshold.
Details such as a complete set of keys (2 pcs) and remote controls (3 pcs) are available for the car. Original tool kit is missing. Original "Car Cover" is missing.
There is documentation regarding service and repair work from 2007 onwards at Lueg Sportivo and Kroymans. The car has been provided with a Ferrari original service book and manual which are without stamps and notes. With the help of collecting supplementary service documents and history, it is possible to recreate a correct service book.
The car's condition shows certain needs for action, which are documented in our condition check. The action points are mainly a review with greater service, as well as renovation of "sticky buttons" and various cosmetic measures. All defects can be rectified for a buyer at von Braun Sports Cars. The current owner reports that the car was originally equipped with the Fiorano Handling package from the manufacturer. However, we have not had the opportunity to ensure that the information is correct as some of the contents of the package have been replaced over the years.
The impressive and exclusive rims are 19" and an original split rim from the Ferrari 575 Maranello. The front tires are made by Continental from 2010 and have a tread depth of 7 mm.
The rear tires are made by Michelin from 2009 and have a tread depth of 6 mm.
This car needs a new owner who is willing to give it some care and love in order for it to live up to its prestigious class membership. It is sold by von Braun on behalf of the previous owner. The price expectation from the owner is negotiable based on, among other things, the rims from 575 Maranello and various action needs. The car can thus be delivered with original rims at a lower price.
The clearest presentation can be found on vonBraun.com including fixed prices for service operations for the model under the "book service" tab.
