Our magically beautiful Porsche 356 B 1600 Super will now be handed over to the next owner. This 356 was delivered new in Sweden in April 1963. The entire length of ownership is documented after collection from the Swedish National Archives. The car is completely original and has "matching numbers" on the engine, gearbox and body. This has qualified the car for a "Certificate of Authenticity" issued by Porsche AG in Germany. This copy appears to have been well cared for by its owners throughout the years and has not required any extensive refurbishment. It is in many respects untouched and original and therefore has some natural patina with the occasional repair visible underneath. When we purchased the car, it was partially dismantled and the engine had just been completely renovated. The previous owner had had the car painted completely at the company Floretten in Helsingborg. The paint looks very good and is in the original color 6207 Heron Gray. This color is a beautiful white-beige shade with a faint green-gray hue. The fit on the car's doors and bonnets is as good as on a brand new copy. At von Braun, we have had our own saddle maker prepare the car's original upholstery so that it feels fresh and smells good. We have therefore installed new carpets and new upholstery on the doors and rear side panels while the seat upholstery is original. All bumper details, chassis, hubcaps and door handles etc. have been renovated with new chrome and new emblems. After straightening and grinding of acid-copper, the chrome-plating work is of a very high quality. All rubber strips and a lot of the car's glass panes are new. This nice Porsche 356 is of course delivered completely ready to drive to you with a new approved inspection. As the car is more than 50 years old, it is exempt from further inspection and road traffic tax for all time to come in Sweden.
