This Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce has a complete history collected right from the day it was delivered new in Stockholm to a Swedish-Italian. After many years, the car was standing still and disassembled. It therefore fell out of the traffic register and has been re-registered with a new registration number. In recent years, the current owner has had the car completely renovated in a very thorough manner.

The entire body has been taken apart and acid dipped before being rebuilt. The car's original color was bright yellow, but this time it was painted in the classic Rosso Alfa red before being painstakingly assembled. The entire renovation is documented with photos. You can find some in the presentation on vonBraun.com. Receipts and documentation regarding the renovation reveal spare parts costs of approximately 25,000 Euro. The work consists of approximately 1000 hours. The engine has of course also been renovated with a ground crankshaft and new wearing parts. The paintwork maintains a good standard that corresponds to the quality of modern production paintwork. All the heavy, expensive and important work on the car is done. It works well and is nice to drive. If we are to point to things that have potential for improvement, it is mainly connected to small details that can be seen as the most enjoyable work. A little refinement of the surface finish and details in the engine compartment would make a difference. Some stainless moldings, glass bezels and emblems could be improved. The stainless bumpers could be polished to a high gloss. However, the overall feel of the car is that it represents what many would call 'as-new' condition.
