This P1800 S has recently been imported from the United States. It is registered and inspected in Sweden in April 2020. Thus, it is exempt from inspection for all future. It is also exempt from roadtax in Sweden. With enthusiast insurance, it becomes a nice enthusiast car to own for low operating costs. Several assessors also believe that the P1800 has a good potential for value added. The modern 3-wheel steering wheel in combination with the B18 engine with dual SU carburetors reveals that it is an early produced car from 1968. The condition and condition of this specific car is unusual. For many of us, it is in need of a new coat of paint and a lot of cosmetic renovation. One of the centrally located round gauges is loose and of the wrong type. Rubber moldings need to be replaced with new ones. Prior to inspection, brakes got a proper overhaul with new rear brake cylinders etc, and they are pulling evenly and nicely today. Fuel systems and carburetors were also cleaned and adjusted, which gives the almost indestructible B18 engine a good run with good exhaust values. There is some rust behind the LH rear wheel which is relatively easy to fix before painting. Otherwise, the body appears to be in a remarkably pristine and good condition in both frame and chassis underneath as far as rust is concerned. We have also not found any traces of inadequate welding repairs. This is probably a perfect car for you who either want a good P1800 to use with patinated condition. Or for those who want to renovate, but avoid complicated, expensive and extensive rust repairs, which most P1800s usually offer. The reported meter position for the kilometer counter cannot be confirmed to correspond to reality. The car is available to see and view at von Braun Sports Cars in Skene right up to the auction end. Foreign buyers are offered the opportunity to inspect the vehicle via Facetime or Skype.
