Series 3 was the best and most refined version of the Jaguar E-type Roadster. 1974 was the last production year. Due to its semi-monocoque structure with individual rear suspension including center-mounted disc brakes and 4 coil-overs, dual triangular levers with torsion bars for front suspension, the 4 Stromberg Carburettor supplied V12, this model represented the most advanced technology in sports cars at the time. The manual gearbox on this particular sample supplies you with great driving dynamics along with the rest of the chassis. This is one of the most enjoyable car models to drive among all semi-classics. This specific car was carefully overhauled in the 90's. It runs and drives great and has recently been imported from Canada and registered in Sweden. The car represents a level that best can be described as a "very nice driver". With a little loving put, service and small tuning from a new enthusiastic owner, it could easily be lifted into a finer show car. After a fair amount of detailing during a winter and without specific specialist knowledge, it will likely withstand most enthusiasts' critical review. The meter position shows 49960 miles.
